Fall Break Free Write

Over Fall Break I had a blast! I spent the whole weekend in Rochester Indiana with my boyfriend and his family. We spent all day on saturday at a huge car show with over 650 cars enetered. I don't know about you guys but I LOVE old cars and trucks. My boyfriend,Ryan and his dad actually entered two of their cars. A 2000 SS Camero and an old Chrystler 300. They didn't end up winning anything but that was okay becuase it was still a very funner experience. We came back Sunday afternoon, and went to Buckley Fest. For those of you who don't know, I live in Lowell and we have a historical muesum / county park called Buckley Homestead. Every year the town has a weekend fest there where the theme is Pioneer Days and there are little food vendor and crafts to buy. This year was cool becuase a local man set up a tomahawk throwing (little axes) and when it was my turn I hit the wood chunk with the butt of the axe instead of head becuase I threw it a little too hard. The guy asked me if I've ever played softball and I haven't, but he thinks I would be pretty good. The man then told my boyfriend to never piss me off because I am scary... Later on Sunday, my sister and I went on a double date with our boys to Harvest time to walk through Halloween lights. We took some cute pictures and overall it was a really good fall break.
